Jessica, Office Manager

Jessica Garcia is the Office Manager at The Smile Standard and brings 18 years of experience in the dental field to her role. Her background includes eight years working with an endodontic specialist in Wheaton, Illinois, followed by 10 years at a general dentistry practice, giving her a strong foundation in both clinical operations and patient-focused care. She enjoys working alongside a dedicated, well-organized team where everyone understands their role, making each day productive, smooth, and enjoyable for both staff and patients.

Originally from Addison, Illinois, Jessica is very family-oriented and values her close relationship with her parents and younger sister, who is also in the dental field. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with family and close friends, going to the gym, shopping, and unwinding at home with her four cats. She’s a fan of scary movies and documentaries and appreciates quiet downtime that helps her recharge.

Katherine, Lead Dental Assistant

As a native of Bartlett, Katherine went to Elgin Community College to start a profession in the field of dentistry. Through her education, she also earned her certification in phlebotomy and dental polishing. With just a few years of experience, she’s now the Lead Dental Assistant at our practice, helping the dentist during various procedures as well as educating our patients on best practices for good dental care. The thing she likes most about her job is having the opportunity to learn more every day in an industry she’s grown to love. She also appreciates the overall experience of the dental office and the amazing team she works with.

Katherine grew up with extremely hardworking parents who worked all their lives to provide the best future for her and her siblings. For this reason, she gives a hundred percent in everything she does. At home, she spends time with her boyfriend and her dog named Rocky. She enjoys going to the gym, taking Rocky to the dog park, and visiting her parents. One intriguing fact about her: she has a gallery of her paintings on a wall in her house and she hopes to add more soon!

Galilea, Treatment Plan Coordinator

With four years of experience in the dental field, Galilea brings dedication and expertise as our Office Treatment Plan Coordinator. Originally from Hoffman Estates, she is passionate about educating patients on maintaining their oral health and ensuring they feel informed and confident about their treatment plans. Galilea's ability to address both clinical and financial concerns with empathy and clarity ensures that every patient feels at ease during their dental visits.

Growing up with hardworking parents who instilled in her a strong work ethic, Galilea is driven by determination and the commitment to never give up. Outside of work, she cherishes time spent with her boyfriend, family, and her two beloved Pomeranians, Khloe and Kamila. A creative soul, Galilea also expresses her artistry through makeup and nail design, showcasing her attention to detail and love for beauty. Galilea's blend of professional dedication and personal creativity makes her a valuable asset to our dental team, contributing both to the care of our patients and the positive energy of our office.

Smita, Registered Dental Hygienist

With eight years of experience in the dental field, Smita is a dedicated and compassionate hygienist who is deeply committed to her patients' oral health. Originally from India, Smita brings a passion for helping others achieve their best smiles, believing that a healthy smile can enhance not only dental health but also confidence and overall well-being. For Smita, building strong relationships with her patients is essential. She values trust and open communication as the foundation of successful dental care, ensuring that each patient feels comfortable and cared for during their visits. Outside of work, Smita cherishes time spent with her nephew, whose boundless energy and curiosity bring her joy. She also enjoys watching Bollywood movies, which allow her to connect with her love for Indian cinema and culture. Whether she's playing games with her nephew or sharing a laugh, Smita treasures these moments of connection and happiness. Elizabeth, Dental Assistant

Elizabeth is a skilled Dental Assistant with two years of experience in the field. Based in Elgin, IL, she brings a strong passion for both oral health and patient care to her work. Elizabeth is dedicated to ensuring that every patient feels comfortable and well-cared for during their dental visits.

Outside of the office, Elizabeth's adventurous spirit shines through. She loves spending time with her beloved Frenchie, whose playful nature brings her joy. When she's not at home, Elizabeth enjoys exploring new travel destinations, always eager to experience different cultures and environments. Tiffany, Dental Assistant

Tiffany, originally from Elgin, is a dedicated Dental Assistant in training. After graduating from Elgin High School, she followed her passion for dentistry by enrolling in the dental assisting program at Elgin Community College. Though still in training, Tiffany is eager to expand her knowledge and skills, demonstrating a strong commitment to her future in the dental profession.

Outside of her studies, Tiffany enjoys curling up with a good book and spending quality time with her boyfriend and their beloved dog, Kirby. On sunny days, she loves to recharge by going for refreshing outdoor runs, embracing the beauty of the outdoors. Tiffany’s enthusiasm for learning and her balanced approach to life make her a promising addition to the dental community.
